Antique English Staffordshire Toby Jug, in mint condition. The Toby Jug or mug was modeled after the character “Toby Belch” in Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”. Sir Toby was an ill mannered flatterer, conman and drunkard…but this circa 1890 Toby looks pretty jovial to us!
