A stunning pair of Mason’s “Imperial” hand decorated plates, signed on the back by the artist M. Foulkes. Mason’s was a premiere manufacturer of quality china in England, founded by Miles Mason in 1796. It’s a fascinating history if you want to read how Mason’s china began and changed with the times, eventually bought by Wedgwood in 1973, but sadly no longer in production today. Once you see a piece of hand painted Mason’s, you’ll appreciate the style and beauty of this fabulous china!
