Description
A beautiful, early 1800’s “Pearlware” platter in the classic Blue Willow pattern. Pearlware was introduced by Josiah Wedgwood in the late 1700’s, creating a bluish tint to it’s glazes. He was trying to mimic Chinese porcelains and make them more affordable for the growing middle class in England and other European countries.
