A naive English pine “Cricket table” with a brass label on the apron “J. R. Hannett and Co. cabinet makers”, Arkwright Street, Notts. The term “Cricket” refers to a three legged country table with a round top, originating in the 17th Century. This charmer came from an old English pub in the Nottingham region of the UK, circa 1880.
