Description
An attractive pair of English Staffordshire black and white King Charles Spaniels. The potteries in the Staffordshire region of England created these charming figurines so the working class could own a Spaniel dog like King Charles II. Often times children worked in the factories and their paintings were more naive looking, adding to the charm of these popular collectibles. Queen Victoria’s spaniel, “Dash”, inspired a resurgence in popularity of these dogs to adorn collector’s mantles. We love displaying Staffordshire figurines in a cluster…the more dogs the merrier!
