A nice example of Watt pottery (Perry County, Ohio 1922-1965) in the Apple pattern. The charm of Watt pottery is in the simplicity of their designs, hand painted by local Ohio artists with very few brush strokes. For the 1950’s housewives it was wonderful to be able to take a bowl like this from the refrigerator right into the oven! Fun to collect the different patterns too!
